Folly Road between Maybank Highway and Wesley Road is currently congested and unsafe for drivers and pedestrians. Residents of Windemere and Byrnes Downs enjoy the opportunities they have to walk to the Windemere shopping center, the public library and even the School of Math and Science. However, residents across Folly Road don’t share that same luxury because the design of Folly Road is unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists. Glatting Jackson is proposing a series of traffic calming measures that will slow traffic down in order to improve the safety for residents who live along this section of Folly Road.
